Why have I chosen to focus on startup and growth stage companies? Because such companies are predominantly focused on product and sales (as they should be!) and rarely have access to professional finance and accounting support – the company is too small / cash constrained to hire a full-time finance or accounting professional (let alone a CFO), but too far along to ignore the need to establish some sound financial structure and discipline.

Founder, CFO, investment banker, investor, manager, consultant – my experience spans B2C and B2B business models across education (EdTech), software-as-a-service (SaaS), and eCommerce / consumer retail. My finance background is complemented by operating and strategy experience at both large public and growth stage / VC-backed technology companies – I understand drivers, KPIs, and customer lifecycles.
Based in Miami after a decade in NYC, I hold an MBA from Columbia Business School (after which I founded a social media / eCommerce startup) and a BBA from Emory University.
